The Hsinchu Biomedical Industry and Incubation Center, operated by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) under the commission of the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration(SMEA), is one of the three core facilities in the Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park. Positioned as an industry-focused hub, the Center works closely with the Park’s R&D Center and Hospital to bridge research, clinical application, and commercialization, strengthening the ecosystem for biomedical innovation.
The Center offers tailored mentoring through a “Startup Profile” mechanism that identifies needs in funding, international expansion, CDMO services, technology development, regulatory support, and clinical resources. Based on this, we involved strategic resources such as venture capital connections, ITRI’s R&D capabilities, regulatory consultation, and a clinical “Green Channel,” complemented by training, business matchmaking, and a flexible membership system to accelerate commercialization.
